i think thias was actually 2006, for what its worth. the night after this show brandon, dave, and i were hauled away to the rogers park police station (myself on acid) for throwing the biggest rave that the north side of chicago had ever seen. ahhhh memories.

Oh...kinda suspected the cover had it wrong, but my memory being the unaccountable lump of swiss cheese that it is, i tend to defer rather easily...Glad you survived the halloween po-po acid death rave experience intact! I seem to recall seeing some snuck-in video footage from this ordeal?

This was a fun show! My mind is also confused as to the time it occurred. For some reason I thought it was further from Halloween. Did the Veterans, Coin Operated, The Protons or all play this one as well? Oh well, I know I got pictures from this somewhere on this computer. Cheers to having the biggest rave the North Side of Chicago has ever seen and also not getting into that big of trouble it seems!

thanks dudes. yeah it was either on the 26th or 27th of '06 i'm pretty sure. and yes, the protons and coin op did play as well as the veterans (i think) cuz i'm not sure if matt dotson would have ever been there otherwise. good memory, grimes. i'd love to see those pictures if you ever find them.

this is completely off topic but i was wondering mark, do you have a copy of "planet xeno" by bicycle day? my copy seems to have disappeared when i moved last summer and i've been in the mood lately for that record.

i'll rip the tape of xeno soon, might also put the alternate cd version up if there are no objections

awesome. i never heard the cd version. i love how andy will do different versions of records, the differences might be subtle but always worth listening to. thanks mark.

Planet Xeno!

Also I was at the Treetop party and it was a blast. Hard to believe it was almost 3 years ago.

i love the headrush pedal. i've been using one for years. the 5 output option is crazy, i threatened a few years ago to do a "dub" remix with andy of tfa using it.

do you have the newer purple model or the older, better, gray model?

Do you have mp3s of this? I can't figure out what to do with .wma files.

Mark said...

Ah sorry Russ, this is how they were given to me. The files should play in Winamp, VLC and Media Player Classic however.
